When you imagine yourself chomping on delicious hamburgers, you might also want to imagine the oozing calories and salt, plus fats you’re ingesting. Eating hamburgers has become sort of a norm for Americans, especially with the increased amount of different ingredients that give a shake to your taste buds.

You can never be sure about the cooking process of your favorite hamburgers or the freshness of the ingredients used. That’s why; making homemade hamburgers is something to look forward to.

Below are a few recipes for recreating the restaurant burger magic within the comfort of your own home.

Burgers you’d want to die for
Laden with flavor, this burger is ideal for giving a kick of change to those taste buds. Making a patty out of chopped onion along with minced garlic and hot red peppers, cool avocado and red onion will certainly make your day.

These burgers can be prepared and cooked easily within half an hour and with the given recipe, you can easily make four and a quarter pound of burgers.

Ingredients

  • Half a cup of minced onion
  • One pound of ground beef
  • Two avocados
  • A jar of red peppers (roasted)
  • Two pressed cloves of garlic
  • Four large rolls of onion
  • Seasoning (Montreal Steak)
  • One thinly sliced red onion

Method
Mix up the minced onion with pressed garlic and ground beef. Pat the mixture and create some patties with drizzle of ‘Montreal Steak Seasoning’ and start grilling. When you’ve grilled the patties to your taste, take the burger patties off the grill and place them on top of a roll of onion. Next, use the avocado slices and red onion along with your roasted and ready to use red peppers on top and you’re good to eat.

Cajun Burgers
This recipe will give you a delicious flavor that’s got a hint of Cajun and a gently spiced grill sauce. The total time needed for making these burgers is around twenty minutes, with ten minutes spent in each of the cooking and preparation processes. With the ingredients listed below, you’ll end up with a quarter pound of Cajun burgers.

Ingredients

  • One teaspoon of Cajun seasoning
  • One egg
  • One pound of ground beef
  • One tablespoon of prepared mustard
  • Four slices of Cheddar cheese
  • Three green onions that are finely chopped
  • A quarter cup of barbecue sauce
  • Three tablespoons of bread crumbs (dry) and
  • One teaspoon of Cajun seasoning

Method
Make sure that your grill is preheated with high heat. Take a big bowl and combine the ground beef with egg, mustard, a tablespoon of Cajun seasoning and green onions along with bread crumbs. Create a mixture and pat it into four patties. For the side sauce, take a little bowl and mix a teaspoon of Cajun seasoning with the barbecue sauce.

For cooking, lightly cover the grill with some oil and place the patties on top, cooking one side for at least five minutes. You could also grill the patties for more time if you want. Next, take the prepared patties off the heat and place slices of Cheddar cheese on top. Cajun burgers can be served with the mixed side sauce.
