Ways to Look Fresh without a Good Night’s Sleep

You need your beauty sleep to look fresh and glowing. Wrong! Thanks to modern-makeup, you can conceal your exhaustion and dark circles. Just try the followings tips and nobody will be able to tell that you did not get a good night’s sleep:

Use a daily scrub to wash your wash

When you sleep, dead cells are naturally cleared away from your face. When you do not get a good night’s sleep, your face is left looking dull and ashen. Washing your face with a proper scrub will repair the damage instantly.

Take a cold shower

A cold shower will not only help wake you up; it will stimulate circulation in your body. As a result, your face will look toned.

Use a moisturizer

Not sleeping well causes your skin’s barrier to become tough, and thus it will not be able to retain water. This will cause dehydration and so your face will appear tired and rough. Moisturize your face well before leaving home; this will cause your skin to retain the moisture.

Use already-used tea bags to subside to the eyes’ puffiness You can reduce your eyes’ puffiness by applying already-used tea bags on them. Tea bags contain caffeine that constricts blood vessels. This will reduce the inflammation and help reduce the puffiness. If you do not have the time to apply tea bags, then try cucumber slices instead.

Start exercising and get moving

If you feel bloated, then do ten jumping jacks and then take ten deep breaths. Keep repeating till you start feeling more energized.

Use foundation

If your skin still looks lifeless, then do not worry. Choose a foundation, with  creamy formula and light-reflecting particles. Your skin will appear to glow again.

Get your eye lashes curled.

Curling your eyelashes will make your eyes look more defined and bigger. Take lash curlers and hold it close to the base of the lashes. Squeeze only once to maximize the length and the curve of the eyelashes.

Use a concealer

A concealer will help you hide your dark circles so that you appear to look fresh and bright. Make sure you select your concealer well. For example, do not choose a concealer a shade lighter than your skin tone because then you will appear pale.

Treat your eyelids

Sometimes individual are so focused on covering their eyes’ puffiness and dark circles that they totally ignore their eyelids. Before going out, you should dab Afrin on your pink eyelids. This will reduce the swelling and redness. If that does not reduce the swelling, then apply an eye-shadow base. We recommend applying peachy eye-shadow base so that it covers the redness effectively.
