Homemade and Natural Cleaning Products

Homemade and natural cleaning products are the finest of them all. We all have at least once heard in our life by our mothers, or our grandmothers that homemade products are the best. I have seen my mother cleaning the house with a cooking ingredient. She said to me the basic household cleaning ingredients are lemon, vinegar, and baking soda. At that time, I thought she was just messing with me. Now, I have used these products to clean my house, and I would like to share them with you.

Vinegar: As many of you already know that vinegar acts as a multipurpose cleaner. The only thing you need to do is mix equal proportions of vinegar, and water. This will clean all the basic areas of your home. Just remember not to use vinegar on marble surfaces, and check on the back or hidden portion of the item before cleaning it with vinegar. Vinegar is commonly used to clean:

Bathrooms: You can clean the sink, toilet, bathtub, and counters with it. If you cannot get rid of the disgusting rings inside your toilet, use pure vinegar. Scrub it, and leave it for a minute then flush it down. Mix vinegar with water to clean your bathroom floor. Vinegar also gets rid of water stains, and soap scum leaving your tiles shiny as new.

Laundry Room: Vinegar can also be used as a fabric softener. It is good for people with sensitive skin issues. Take a measuring cup pour ½ cup of vinegar in the rinse cycle. Vinegar can also be used to clean washing machines and dishwashers. Empty them and put in vinegar, and turn them on for a spin.

Kitchen: Use the vinegar-water solution to clean the stovetop. You can use this mixed solution on floors, and many appliances. I am confident that you will be more than happy when you see your kitchen floor shining gain.

Baking Soda: It leaves a great scent. Place it in a box, and put it in your fridge or freezer to absorb unwanted odors. You can also place it in smelly shoes, trashcans, and other things that smell bad. It can be used in your laundry too.

Lemon: Many people think I am joking when I tell them lemon juice works as a cleaning product. It is all natural, and works as an all-purpose cleaner in many ways. It helps you get rid of soap scum, or hard water deposits. It brings a shine to copper and brass. Lemon juice also acts as bleach. Try using it on a hidden spot before you clean the entire thing. You can make a paste using lemon juice, baking soda, and vinegar. You can use lemon to remove stains on dishes, and it also gives it a good smell.

Additional Natural Cleansers: A few more cleansers are natural. Like rice, coffee, ketchup, and other ingredients used in the kitchen. You can always use market-based products, but when you use the homemade and natural cleaning products, and see their result, you want to use them over and over again
